Nezaman geniş zaman kullanılır?

• Her zaman geçerli olan olayları, durumları anlatmak için:

örnek:  L'acqua bolle a 100 gradi.  ( su 100 derecede buharlaşır)

• Şu anda devam eden olayarı anlatmada kullanılır:

örnek: Il signor Rossi lavora a casa oggi. ( sinyor Rossi bugün evde çalışacak)

• Alışkanlıkların anlatılması için kullanılır:

örnek: Vanno sempre in discoteca il sabato.(Herzaman cumartesileri diskoya giderler)

• Gelecekte olacak olaylar için de geniş zaman kullanılabilir:

örnek:

—Torni a casa domani? (yarın eve geri dönecekmisin?)

—No, sto qui fino a venerdì. ( hayır, Burda cumaya kadar kalacağım.)

• Geçmişte başlamış ve şuanda devam eden olayları anlatmak için kullanılır:

örnek:

—Da quando (Lei) lavora qui? ( burda nekadar süredir çalışıyorsunuz?-resmi)
—Lavoro qui da tre anni. ( 3 senedir çalışıyorum)

• Geçmişte olup bugünde etkisi olan olayları anlatmak için kullanılır- Tarihsel olaylar vs gibi: 

örnek: Cristoforo Colombo attraverso l'Oceano Atlantico nel 1492. ( C.C Atlantik okyanusunu 1492 de geçti)

Fiiller geniş zamanda nasıl çekilir?

İtalyan dilinde fiiller "are, ire, ere" bitimli olmak üzere 3'e ayrılır. En basit anlamda bir fiil bu üç ekten biriyle bitmek zorundadır. Yani Fiillerin mastarlar halleri  "are, ire, ere" ile biter. 

Geniş zamanda Fiiller düzenli (regolari ) ve Düzensiz (irregolari ) olarak çekilir.

Interrogative Prepositions
In Italian, a question never ends with a preposition. Prepositions such as a, di, con, andper always precede the interrogative chi (who).
